Episode #2:

Hey everyone! :-D I'm finding it easier to watch Survivor on CBS.com instead of when it airs just because it's easier for me to pause & blog and take screenshots of different things. So from now on, all my Survivor blog posts will be the day AFTER it airs, but feel free to come here on Thursday nights to chat in the Chat Room (on the right side) with other Survivor lovers!!

Okay, here is the cliffnotes on Episode #2:

Randy still doesn't like his tribe (FANG) and was complaining about how they are "a bunch of idiots" (hmm..sounds familiar from last weeks episode.)

Fang is running very low on rice due to their 3 meals per day and Randy brought this to everyones attention and suggested that they eat only 2 meals per day. GC became a smart ass and asked Randy if he would like to be the leader of their tribe..to which Randy said no.

Rewards Challenge:
A member from each tribe had to sit on the ground and hang on tight to a post as 3 tribe members from the opposite tribes tried to get them off the post and drag them across the finish line first.

Fang won and they received blankets and had to pick which member of Kota was going to go to exile island and they choose "Sugar" to go.

When she arrived at exile, she had the choice between comfort (a gazebo with a lantern and blankets, etc) or she could try to find the hidden idol. She chose to try to find the idol.

And her hard work paid off because she FOUND THE IDOL!! :-D

Back at camp, the Kota tribe was talking about how they want Paloma or Sugar out next.

Ace & Sugar are in an alliance to the end, so any talk of getting rid of Sugar, he turned back onto getting Paloma out. He did more harm than good though because now his tribe can see that they are in an alliance together.

Immunity Challenge:
Both tribes had to slip n' slide into the water and swim out to grab tiles floating in the water and bring them back on land to figure out the combination of a treasure chest that had the axe they needed to get their flag to raise up. First one to do this, wins.

It was a very close race and the winning tribe was...

FANG

Ace & Sugar took a short ride in the row boat to discuss her trip to exile island and she told Ace that she found the idol.

Kota went to tribal and...

3rd Person Voted Out is:

Paloma

There were a few votes for Ace, but the majority (obviously) was for Paloma.

That's it for this week, folks! :-D Join me next week for Episode #3!!

Marcus shows more than a little skin:

The censors at CBS must have been snoozing on the job, because they let a short clip of Marcus' penis popping through his boxers air on television!

When I was watching the episode on tv, I could have sworn I saw his 'buddy' flip-flopping around, but I thought nawww it's just my imagination or something. Turns out, what I saw was real! lol ;-)

Wonder how long CBS.com will keep the episode on the website!

Survivor: Episode 1

Okay, so what did ya'll think of tonight's 2 hour show? I thought it was really good, BUT...really slow moving. I don't know, we'll have to see what the rest of the season is like before making a good judgment call.

Okay, so about tonight's episode:

The cast introduced themselves 1 by 1. The cast looks freakin GREAT!!! A very nice & diverse cast, reminds me of the type of great casts from back in the first few years of Survivor. :)

After their intro's, the picked teams and then they went straight into their 1st challenge.

Here are the tribes:

(By the way, "Fang" is pronounced like "Fohng".)

The challenge was to run a really long distance and climb up a huge hill (in which I totally would have had a fat-attack!! lol) ;-P

Winning Team of 1st Challenge:

Kota

They won some corn, beans & rice.

Gillian was slow moving up the hill, and so was Crystal, which surprised me given that she's been in the Olympics.

Matty: "Gillian is gonna be a huge load to carry [in the game]."

Back at camp, Gillian was telling her team how good they were and just keeping everything on a positive note. Well, that kinda backfired on her because Randy thought she was more annoying than "positive".

Charlie & Marcus formed the very first alliance of the season: "The Large Onion Alliance". Marcus said that he looks at his alliance like a big onion and that they have to keep adding "layers" (tribe members) to their alliance (or onion, if you will.) But the "core" of the onion..er..alliance...is Marcus & Charlie.

Did ya get all of that? Good. Moving on...

Randy busted his head open when he walked into a branch on their hut and medical aid had to come in to stitch him up and wrap a big bandage around his head.

The next morning, Michelle was complaining about how cold she was and that the night was really cold. This annoyed alot of her tribe members...which are "stupid dorks" according to Michelle.

Challenge #2:
6 members tied together race through leech infested waters, then over/under a series of walls & posts. They have to dig up 3 bags of puzzle pieces, solve puzzles. First tribe to do the puzzle, wins immunity & fire (in the form of flint). Losers will go to tribal and someone will be voted out.

Challenge starts, Kota finds all 3 bags first. Fang looked like they gave up. Gillian kept yelling at them to "keep going" and to stay positive, but they
gave up.

Winning Team:

Kota

Randy didn't want Gillian around anymore and started to "plant the seed" of getting rid of her. Michelle & Ken also wanted Gillian out. So at this point, it looked as if Gillian was gonna go home.

Tribal:
At tribal, Michelle was bitching about GC being one of the main reasons they lost because he took a break. GC apologized and Michelle got catty, and everybody
ganged up on Michelle and started an argument.

First Survivor Eliminated:

Michelle

Jeff asked who the leader was in FANG and they said "nobody" and somehow it got turned into everybody voting for GC to be the leader, against GC's wishes.

Jeff gave them flint to take back to camp.

The next day, there was a little bit of friction between Randy & GC when GC asked Randy if he would could take over & get the water to boil. Randy thinks that GC is too young to be the tribe leader and he'll let GC crash & burn for other to see it.

Marcus & Charlie added "layers to their onion" (so to speak) and formed the alliance of:

Corrine/Jacque/Charlie/Marcus

Early the next morning, GC started a fire and was doing some laundry when it was still dark out (super early in the morning). Everybody else, one by one,
woke up. Gillian was not happy and an argument started between her and GC. This is when GC quit his job as a leader.

GC: "I don't wanna be ya'lls leader and I'm going to be the leader just because you guys want me to be. Hell, I'm younger than all ya'll!"

Challenge #3:
For immunity & reward (fishing supplies).

Winning Team:

Kota

They also got to send 1 of the other tribes members to exile island and Dan was the one they picked. Dan went and didn't find the hidden idol.

Even though Fang lost and didn't get to receive any fishing supplies, they were still able to make a fishing pole and snag up 5 (small) fish.

Tribal:
2nd person to leave Survivor:

Gillian

Meet the cast of Surivor:

Here they are, ladies & gents!!! :-D

If you want to see each of their videos to see what they're like, go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/video/ and check'em out!

From watching all of thier individual videos, here's my impressions/opinions:

Crystal already sounds very full of herself.

Jaque is a work-a-holic, working 80 hours a week. She's also very flirtatious by nature but will try not to be with the guys. She doesn't want the other girls to get jealous and then target her.

Gillian...I have a feeling that I'm gonna love this girl! :-D She seems like she could be a pistol! ;-)

Paloma seems like the sweet girl of the cast. Down to earth and sweet.

Danny "GC" had a touch childhood and it made him into a real world survivor. He's gonna be a tough one in the game for sure!

Michelle is a boxer who has an aggressive attitude when it comes to verbal fights, and she also claims to be a "genius" but doesn't really sound that smart.

Kelly seems like she's going to be one tough cookie, hidden behind her blonde hair & blue eyes.

Jessica (aka "Sugar) is already one of my favorites. She said that she's going to miss her "Sex, drugs, and rock n'roll". lol She got the nickname "Sugar" from working in a 50's diner and has used that at every 50's diner she's worked at.

Ace is arrogant and said it himself, but as he put it..he's "earned it".

Ken is a...okay, let's face it: Ken is a dork. lol But a loveable dork! He's a professional gamer which he thinks will come in handy in the game..he'll be able to play mind games.

Charlie. Ohhh, Charlie. I think I'm gonna love this guy fresh outta the gate!! lol His personality is addicting (so far), and claims to not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Matty is your typical party guy who likes to sleep with women.

Bob is very mentally "strong". He'll be great in the puzzle competitions for sure! But being that he's 58 yr old, I think he might fall a little short on the physical comps.

Dan seems like he could run the whole show this year, but not in a bad way. He looks physically strong, very nice & likeable, he says that he's "intuitive" (which will come in handy for sure). I'm predicting that this guy will get far in the game if he's everything he claims to be & seems to be. :-D

Corinne is the "bitch" of the season but doesn't plan on showing the bitch side of her to everybody else..only to the cameras.

Randy is the comedian of the group.

Susie is the mother of the season. Oh, she also burps & farts and doesn't care. lol Right on, Susie!!

If one thing is ringing true this season, it's that the cast is VERY diverse in every possible way and I love that!!! :-D Should be another great season of Survivor!!

I'm totally diggin the fact that they're in Africa, looks beautiful!!

The season starts next week & I can't wait! :-D

Stay tuned...
